Ten northern localities organized online job transaction floors on March 14, attracting 154 enterprises looking to fill over 41,700 positions.

The localities were Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan, Thai Binh, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, and Phu Tho.

Bac Giang and Bac Ninh have the largest number of positions, with 17,338 and 11,113, respectively.

The transaction floor for Hanoi attracted 30 businesses seeking to fill 1,125 positions.

Most positions are in electronics production, garments, business - marketing, technicians, mechanics, machine operators, cashiers, retailers, accountants, customer services, and human resources.

Average salaries range between VND7-15 million ($285-610) per month, depending on the position.

Hanoi has set a target of generating 120,000 new jobs in 2024.
