Some 625 exhibitors from 22 countries and territories are displaying products at the 21st Vietnam International Plastics and Rubber Industry Exhibition (VietnamPlas 2023), which opened in Ho Chi Minh City on October 18,

They include businesses from Australia, Brazil, China, India, Italy, Russia, the US, and Vietnam.

The four-day event features over 1,100 booths showcasing a wide range of solutions, such as machinery and equipment for the production and processing of plastics and rubber, as well as raw materials and machinery for recycling.

Domestic and foreign businesses also have the opportunity to access the latest technologies in the plastics and rubber industry and conduct trade exchanges.

Exports of plastics products reached $3.71 billion in the first nine months of this year, down 12.2 per cent year-on-year, figures from the Vietnam Plastics Association show.
