Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has urged relevant ministries and agencies to quicken administrative reform in connection with digital transformation to serve people and businesses.
Chairing the fourth meeting of the government’s Steering Committee for Administrative Reform on April 19, the Prime Minister affirmed that administrative reform is one of the three strategic breakthrough tasks.
However, there remain a lot of obstacles and bottlenecks hampering investment in production and business development and affecting the mobilization of resources for development.
The government leader asked the steering committee, ministries, sectors, and localities to focus on assessing and clarifying the results, shortcomings, and weaknesses to introduce appropriate response measures.
He asked committee members to clearly define their roles and responsibilities in administrative reform in the country, their ministries, and sectors.
Ministries, agencies, and localities are to work harder and be more resolute in raising public satisfaction over administration procedures, with a target of over 90 per cent satisfaction by 2025.
