The Ministry of Finance has directed price appraisal enterprises to strictly comply with relevant regulations and standards in their activities.
The direction was made following an examination by the ministry in 2022 that found that some businesses had violated regulations in price appraisal activities, such as not reporting to the ministry when they change lists of appraisers or not following price appraisal processes. The price appraisal reports of some businesses lacked the required specific information.
Enterprises violating the law were handled in line with regulations.
The ministry also asked price appraisal enterprises to review their operations to identify shortcomings and adopt corrective measures.
They were also instructed to regularly update related legal documents and follow Vietnam’s price appraisal standards.
