The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) has set up a public-private partnership (PPP) taskforce for the rice sector.
This is to improve the quality and sustainability of the sector by tapping efforts of diverse actors in the value chain. The taskforce is expected to attract investment and strengthen the modernization of local agriculture and food networks through the application of technology and innovation in connectivity.
