Authorities of Quang Tri province in central Vietnam approved investment policies for 13 projects in July, with total registered capital exceeding VND2.54 trillion ($96.5 million).
The additions bring the province’s tally for the first seven months of the year to 37 new projects, worth more than VND9 trillion ($342 million) in total.
To date, Quang Tri’s industrial and economic zones have attracted 396 projects with combined registered capital of over VND238.3 trillion ($9 billion), of which 223 projects are already operational.
The province is home to 15 industrial parks covering 3,500 hectares, with several recording occupancy rates approaching 100%.
