The Vietnam Road Administration has posted encouraging results in 2022, especially in boosting its digital transformation, with efforts made to apply automated non-stop toll collections on all expressways nationwide and officially operating Level 4 online public services.

A total of 147 automated toll stations nationwide have received the necessary investment. More than 4.2 million vehicles now have electronic tags, or 92 per cent of all vehicles.

At a meeting held recently in Hanoi to review its tasks in 2022, the Administration said it has also completed the installation of surveillance cameras in all vehicles involved in the transport business.

It has also resolutely guided the disbursement of all maintenance capital and public investment capital for 2022.
