Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to invest in SmartNet

The Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) announced on November 11 that it will invest VND240 billion ($9.6 million) in the Smart Net Trading Service JSC (SmartNet). Mr. Marek Forysiak, Founder and President of SmartNet, said the arrangement is an important step in SmartNet’s strategy to improve the business activities of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and become the leading service supply platform in Vietnam for sellers.
