$3 bln credit package on way for HCMC businesses
At a conference organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade and the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh, Branch Deputy Director, said the central bank is planning to launch a program in the fourth quarter connecting banks and businesses with a credit support package of about VND70 trillion ($3 billion), to share the difficulties and challenges the city’s business community is facing.
