The Binh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee has approved a housing development plan for the 2021-2025 period that focuses on social housing and housing for workers at industrial parks. The south-central province is striving to have an average housing area of 27 sq m per person by 2025.

The 160-ha Son My Port in Ham Tan district, south-central Binh Thuan province, will receive investment to allow it to berth 150,000-ton ships for key local projects. As a land possessing many natural advantages, including a coastline of more than 192 km, Binh Thuan, considered the “resort capital” of Vietnam, has become a familiar destination for tourists.

Many major real estate investors are coming to La Gi in south-central Binh Thuan province with large-scale projects that will turn the town into the largest industrial center in the province. With industrial zones, La Gi will also become the center of the local real estate market.

South-central province to outlay VND3.8 trillion ($167.1 million) for the Phan Thiet Airport project, which is expected to support regional socio-economic development and investment attraction.

The Binh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee has drafted a decision on adjusting a number of elements in a project to build the south-central province into a national marine tourism and sports center. By 2025, it will build marine tourism and sports destinations of national and international stature, and attract over 8 million visitors, with international tourists to reach about 880,000.
