Rental support goes to more than 5.1mln workers
The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) has said that nearly VND3.54 trillion ($147.6 million) has been disbursed out of a total of VND6.6 trillion ($275.24 million) in rental support for more than 5.1 million workers, or 54.53 per cent of the original target. The government issued Decision No. 08/QD-TTg in March on rental support for workers affected by Covid-19.
Hai Phong commits to disbursing all public investment capital by Jan 31
Hai Phong city has been assigned a public investment capital plan for 2022 of nearly VND13 trillion ($550.4 million) by the Prime Minister. It plans to disburse 70.2 per cent by the end of September, and has committed to disbursing 100 per cent by January 31, 2023.
Transport ministry keeping eye on disbursement target
The Ministry of Transport needs to disburse more than VND28 trillion ($1.18 billion) from now to the end of the year. It has asked project management boards and investors with low disbursement results to propose solutions to boost progress. As of the end of August, the ministry had disbursed more than VND22 trillion ($925.92 million) this year, or 44.1 per cent of the plan, which is higher than the average of other units.
