Party General Secretary and State President To Lam stressed that reform in basic science research must encompass awareness, institutional frameworks, investment mechanisms, and implementation methods. He described the issue as a strategic matter directly linked to Vietnam’s development model, national self-reliance and international standing in the 21st century.

Party General Secretary and State President To Lam stressed that citizens should have access to stable, safe and affordable housing suited to eligible beneficiaries, with rental housing becoming a long-term pillar.

General Secretary and President Lam expressed his confidence that, with its tradition of dynamism and innovation and with strong support from the central authorities, Da Nang will overcome challenges and realise its vision of becoming a major national growth pole and a modern, smart, and worth-living coastal city with strong regional competitiveness.

“The Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress embodies the wisdom, will and aspiration to rise of the entire nation. The value of the resolution can only be fully affirmed when it is implemented through decisive, coordinated and effective action,” Party General Secretary and State President To Lam told the press.

This is Mr. Lam’s first visit to Cuba in his capacity as the top leader of the Party and State of Vietnam.

During his trip between September 21-24, the top leader will attend the UN Summit of the Future and the 79th session of the UN General Assembly and pay a working visit to the US.
