Vinh International Airport expansion project accelerated to raise capacity
The airport in central Nghe An province is expected to serve 3 million passenger a year by 2030.
Vinh airport set for major expansion, with annual service capacity of 14 million passenger
The total land requirement for the project is 543.53 ha, of which civil aviation land accounts for 262.7 ha, military land for 238.8 ha, and shared land for 42 ha.
Vinh International Airport runway to be expanded
The upgrade will enable the airport to accommodate large aircrafts such as B787 and A350.
Proposal made to upgrade Vinh International Airport
A proposal has been made for a new passenger terminal to be built at Vinh International Airport in north-central Nghe An province with a capacity of 12 million passengers a year and also an additional runway. Current capacity is only 2 million passengers a year.
