Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will put two tech trading floors into operation in the fourth quarter of 2024 under a direction from the Prime Minister, the Government News has reported.
This is part of Directive No. 25/CT-TTg, signed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang on October 5, on developing the science and technology market in a synchronous, effective, modern, and integrated manner.
The Prime Minister urged the central city of Da Nang to step up preparations for the official launch of its tech trading floor in the fourth quarter of 2025.
The Ministry of Science and Technology was required to coordinate with relevant agencies to review, adjust, and supplement policies and regulations and remove obstacles for the development of the science and technology market.
The ministry was also assigned to design and implement specific policies to lure Vietnamese experts living and working abroad and foreign experts to join the country’s efforts in developing the science and technology market.
