The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology hosted Techmart 2026 on May 21–22, featuring more than 100 green technology devices aimed at promoting sustainable development.
The annual technology and equipment fair serves not only as a platform to showcase cutting-edge innovations but also as a vital bridge connecting businesses, research institutes, and the wider community in advancing environmentally focused innovation.
This year’s event attracted participation from universities, research institutions, and domestic and international enterprises, presenting a wide range of green and circular technology solutions. The exhibition offers businesses opportunities to access emerging technologies, enhance competitiveness, and accelerate green transformation through innovation.
A key highlight of Techmart 2026 is a 50-booth exhibition area, creating a comprehensive technology ecosystem to support sustainable manufacturing. Featured sectors include green energy, environmental treatment, ESG monitoring and management, and sustainable materials technology.
In addition to the exhibition, the event hosted 15 specialized seminars to share practical experience and discuss emerging industry trends.
One of the event’s standout moments was the signing of cooperation agreements between Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Science and Technology and its counterparts from Ca Mau, Dak Lak, and Dong Nai provinces. The agreements aim to strengthen inter-provincial collaboration in technology exchange, data sharing, and resource connectivity.
Several technology and equipment transfer contracts were also signed, underscoring Techmart 2026’s role in fostering innovation and supporting businesses on their journey toward sustainable growth.
