Thanh Hoa gives green light to major projects

Provincial authorities have approved a number of key projects in the locality.

Northern Thanh Hoa province has given the go-ahead to planning for the Luu Binh Industrial Park on 479 ha in Quang Xuong district.

To be a green industrial park using high technology, it prioritizes electronics assembly, telecommunications, and information technology.

Elsewhere but part of the same drive towards boosting local industry, the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee decided to adjust a technical infrastructure project at the Cam Chau industrial complex in Cam Thuy district.

Authorities also recently established the Tam Linh industrial complex on 37 ha in Nga Son district, and approved detailed planning for the Khe Ha industrial complex on 50.53 ha in Thuong Xuan district.

On January 20, the People’s Committee gave the go-ahead to the RIG Group being the investor of an ecological urban area on the banks of the Hoang Hoa River, with total investment of VND1.5 trillion ($63.3 million), of which the investor contributed VND230 billion ($9.7 million). On 47.86 ha, the urban area straddles Hoang Duc commune and But Son town in Hoang Hoa district.
