Thanh Hoa province in central Vietnam earned more than VND43.38 trillion ($1.65 billion) in tourism revenue in the first ten months of 2025, up 33.7% year-on-year, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Revenue from international visitors is estimated at $383 million.
During the period, Thanh Hoa welcomed over 15.58 million visitors, including 711,600 foreign arrivals, representing increases of 6.2% and 16.4%, respectively.
In October alone, the province received around 283,400 tourists, up 11.5% from the same month last year, with 68,300 international visitors.
The tourism sector’s strong performance was driven by the recovery of the domestic market and expanding international arrivals, especially from Northeast Asia and Europe. Thanh Hoa’s diverse tourism products and destinations have also contributed significantly to attracting more visitors.
