North-central Thanh Hoa province’s GRDP increased 6.21 per cent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2023, according to local authorities.
The agriculture, forestry and fishery sector recorded a year-on-year rise of 3.22 per cent, industry and construction 5.66 per cent, and services 10.91 per cent.
Industrial production was stable during the period, with its industrial production index increasing 4.55 per cent year-on-year.
Revenue from retail sales reached more than VND32.3 trillion ($1.35 billion), up 11.2 per cent year-on-year.
However, State budget collections in the first quarter fell 25.1 per cent year-on-year, to VND6.2 trillion ($259 million). Collection from import and export activities stood at over VND4.1 trillion ($171 million).
