North-central Thanh Hoa province has set a target of building at least 13,787 social houses by 2030, according to the Provincial People’s Committee.

This forms part of the province’s efforts to implement a government master plan on building at least 1 million social houses for low-income earners and workers at industrial parks in the 2021-2030 period.

The province plans to build 6,287 houses in the 2021-2025 period and 7,500 in the 2026-2030 period.

It has selected contractors for the construction of 13 housing projects in the 2021-2025 period, and will select contractors for another 14 projects in the 2026-2030 period.

The State Bank of Vietnam branch in Thanh Hoa is conducting credit programs to support investors and buyers of social housing.
