Thanh Hoa province in central Vietnam recorded export revenue of $4.695 billion in the first eight months of 2025, up 18.4% year-on-year and equivalent to 58.7% of its annual plan.
In August alone, exports were estimated at $627.1 million, a 6.6% increase compared to the same month last year. Major export items included meat, garments and textiles, footwear, and cement.
During the January–August period, Thanh Hoa’s import turnover reached $6.516 billion.
The domestic market also showed strong momentum, with total retail sales of consumer goods and services rising 13.1% year-on-year to over VND145.49 trillion ($5.53 billion).
