The Web3 Builders’ Summit 2026 (LFBUIDL 2026, abbreviated as W3BS) took place on May 25 in central Da Nang city as the official Web3 component of the Da Nang Venture and Angel Summit (DAVAS) 2026.
This annual event is organized under the direct guidance of the Da Nang People’s Committee.
The summit focused on three key themes: Vietnam’s Web3 Infrastructure; The Future of Money and Stablecoins; and Asset Tokenization and Real-World Assets (RWA). Alongside the keynote sessions, W3BS 2026 featured "Lightning Debates" on trending topics within the developer community, such as: Stablecoins vs. Traditional Banking; RWA Yields vs. DeFi-native Yields; and AI x Web3 Security.
The event also hosted pitching sessions for market-oriented incubated projects, showcasing: On-chain Financial Infrastructure, Consumer Apps for Emerging Markets, and AI-Native Technology with Data Sovereignty.
W3BS 2026 arrives as Vietnam’s digital technology ecosystem enters a phase of structural development. Following the Government’s issuance of Resolution 05/NQ-CP, which establishes a pilot legal framework for the crypto asset market for 2026–2030, and the official launch of the Vietnam International Financial Center in Da Nang (VIFC Da Nang), W3BS 2026 marks the first major conference organized by the Web3 community under this new policy landscape. The event aims to bridge Web3 developers, tech enterprises, and both domestic and international investors with the city’s innovative startup ecosystem.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Son Phong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, affirmed: "Da Nang identifies digital technology, innovation, and the knowledge economy as the city's strategic development drivers for this new era. Within this framework, blockchain, Web3, Artificial Intelligence, and digital assets are sectors with the potential to create entirely new business models, governance methods, and economic ecosystems."

Therefore, the spirit of this year’s Web3 Builders’ Summit aligns perfectly with Da Nang's orientation: placing the ‘builder’ community—engineers, programmers, and tech founders—at the core of our innovation ecosystem’s development,” Mr. Phong said.
Founder of sqrDAO, Mr. Pham Bao Long, said: "The Web3 ecosystem in Vietnam is witnessing significant shifts as institutional infrastructure begins to take shape. ‘Builders’ in the next phase must simultaneously master three pillars—policy, technical infrastructure, and capital flows—to build products and achieve long-term growth alongside the market."
