Authorities in central Thua Thien-Hue province plan to earmark over VND3.6 trillion ($152 million) to implement national target programs in 2023.

This is part of an action plan issued recently by the provincial People’s Committee on the implementation of national target programs on building new-style rural areas in connection with sustainable poverty reduction and socio-economic development in areas inhabited by ethnic minority groups in 2023.

Funds allocated for implementing national target programs will total over VND3.6 trillion ($152 million), including VND3 trillion ($127 million) for a program on building new-style rural areas, VND340 billion ($14.4 million) for a program on sustainable poverty reduction, and the remainder for a program on socio-economic development in areas inhabited by ethnic minority groups.
