The Mitsubishi Xpander topped the best-selling list in Vietnam in last December with 1,989 units sold, according to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers' Association (VAMA).
It was followed by the Hyundai Accent, with 1,861 units, the Ford Ranger (1,604 units), Toyota Yaris Cross (1,578 units), the Toyota Vios (1,504 units), the Toyota Innova Cross (1,203 units), the Mitsubishi Xforce (1,140 units), the Mazda CX-5 (1,125 units), the Toyota Corolla Cross (1,015 units), and the Hyundai Tucson (970 units).
VAMA members sold 340,142 vehicles in 2024, marking a year-on-year increase of 12.6%.
Of the total, there were 172,730 domestically manufactured and assembled vehicles, down 4.8% year-on-year. Meanwhile, imported vehicles reached 167,412, surging 38.8% year-on-year.
