The Mazda CX-5 SUV topped the October best-selling list in Vietnam with 2,165 units sold, according to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers' Association (VAMA).

It was followed by the Hyundai Accent, with 1,474 units, the Toyota Vios with 1,463, the Ford Ranger with 1,278, and the Mitsubishi Xpander with 1,277 units.

The Mazda CX-5 also topped the best-selling list in September.

VAMA members sold 25,369 units in total during October, down 31 per cent year-on-year.

The figure brings the total number of units sold in the first ten months of the year to 235,296, a year-on-year decline of 29 per cent.
