Vietnam's aviation sector has left a significant mark, with over 64 million passengers served and more than 1 million tons of cargo handled in the past nine months representing a year-on-year increase of nearly 11% and 19%, respectively. 

Specifically, domestic transport accounted for nearly 29 million passengers, up over 7% year-on-year, and more than 169,000 tons of cargo, an increase of 0.2%. In the international segment, passenger numbers reached over 35 million, an increase of over 13%, while cargo also rose by nearly 23%, reaching approximately 946,000 tons.

Notably, Vietnamese airlines maintained a significant share, carrying nearly 44 million passengers, up over 8%, and more than 343,000 tons of cargo, an increase of over 5% compared to the same period last year. In the domestic market alone, Vietnamese carriers transported approximately 29 million passengers and over 169,000 tons of cargo, while in the international market, the figures were nearly 15 million passengers and over 174,000 tons of cargo, respectively.
