The Vietnam Digital Awards (VDA) 2026 ceremony was held on October 14, honouring digital transformation initiatives that deliver tangible value to the economy.
A key innovation this year was the revision of the awards’ regulations and evaluation criteria, shifting from technology adoption to measurable real-world results. Performance was assessed through indicators such as labour productivity, operating costs, revenue, and levels of satisfaction among citizens and customers.
The new approach aims to identify organisations and initiatives that not only apply digital technologies but also demonstrate their effectiveness in practice.
Each organisation, product, service and individual recognised represents the spirit of innovation and creativity within Vietnam’s digital community. Behind these achievements are the expertise, perseverance, commitment and ambition of those helping shape the country’s digital landscape.
According to the organising committee, the 2026 awards received 457 entries across five categories. Following preliminary and final evaluation rounds, the committee selected 56 organisations, products and solutions, along with three outstanding individuals, for recognition.
The five award categories were: Outstanding Digital Transformation in State Agencies; Outstanding Digital Transformation in Enterprises and Public Service Units; Outstanding Digital Technology Products, Services and Solutions; Digital Transformation Products and Solutions for the Community; and Individual Recognition.
The awards seek to highlight practical digital transformation achievements and encourage the wider adoption of effective solutions across Vietnam’s public and private sectors.
