The award ceremony was held on May 28.

The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association on May 28 held the Sao Khue Awards 2026 ceremony and officially launched the “Vietnam Digital Technology Solutions Map 2026,” highlighting the rapid growth of Vietnam’s digital technology sector.

The event took place as Vietnam’s newly enacted Digital Technology Industry Law came into effect earlier this year, encouraging domestic technology firms to move beyond short-term commercial strategies and expand into new areas linked to national digital sovereignty.

Speaking at the ceremony in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Khac Lich, Director of the Department of Information Technology Industry at the Ministry of Science and Technology, said the 123 award-winning products, services, and digital solutions recognized this year demonstrated the growing maturity of Vietnam’s technology enterprises.

He noted that Vietnamese firms are increasingly mastering core technologies, data, and digital platforms while strengthening the country’s position on the global digital technology map.

The Top 10 Sao Khue Awards reflected a balanced mix of major technology corporations specializing in infrastructure, data, and digital platforms, alongside innovative companies operating in niche sectors such as artificial intelligence, fintech, govtech, cybersecurity, and automation.

Several Vietnamese-developed platforms have now reached large-scale deployment with real-time operations and extensive user bases. Some digital banking platforms currently serve more than 15 million active users and process over 2.7 billion transactions annually, while public administration platforms have handled nearly 1.8 million online applications with digitalization rates exceeding 94%.
