Vietnam SuperPort® has been awarded the TAPA FSR Level A Certification, the highest level under the facility security standards established by the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA), reinforcing its credentials as a secure and internationally compliant logistics hub.
The certification was presented at the Building Resilient and Trusted Supply Chains Amid Global Disruption Conference, underscoring Vietnam SuperPort®’s efforts to strengthen operational security, transparency, and governance while supporting Vietnam’s growing role in global supply chains.
TAPA FSR (Facility Security Requirements) is one of the logistics industry’s leading international security standards, widely adopted by multinational manufacturers, logistics providers, and transportation companies. The framework sets strict requirements for security controls, risk management, and cargo protection across warehousing, handling, and transportation activities.
As supply chains face increasing demands for security, visibility, and operational resilience, compliance with TAPA standards has become an important benchmark for companies seeking to meet international requirements and deepen engagement with global partners.
By achieving TAPA FSR Level A certification, Vietnam SuperPort® has demonstrated that its infrastructure and operating procedures meet stringent international standards for warehouse and cargo security. The Level A designation is reserved for facilities handling high-value and security-sensitive goods and requires enhanced measures covering perimeter protection, access control, and operational governance.
The certification further supports Vietnam SuperPort®’s ambition to develop a modern, secure, and sustainable multimodal logistics platform serving both Vietnam and the wider region.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Yap Kwong Weng, CEO of Vietnam SuperPort®, stated: “Achieving the TAPA FSR Level A Certification marks an important milestone in Vietnam SuperPort®’s journey to build an integrated logistics ecosystem aligned with international standards. This certification not only reflects our capabilities in delivering safe, transparent, and globally compliant operations, but also demonstrates our long-term commitment to supporting the enhancement of Vietnam’s logistics competitiveness. Moving forward, we will continue investing in technology, infrastructure, and talent development to pursue higher international standards and contribute to building more resilient and trusted supply chains across the region.”
Mr. Tony Lugg, Chairperson of the Transported Asset Protection Association Asia Pacific (TAPA APAC), commended Vietnam SuperPort®’s efforts in strengthening supply chain security. “Achieving the TAPA FSR Level A Certification is a testament to Vietnam SuperPort®’s operational capabilities and commitment to continuous improvement. It also underscores the company’s growing role in building resilient and trusted supply chains in Vietnam and across the region. TAPA APAC remains committed to supporting the logistics and supply chain community in Vietnam in their journey toward higher operational standards and stronger global competitiveness.”
