At the policy dialogue on June 25, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh President and CEO of the World Economic Forum Borge Brende discussed Vietnam’s new development vision and its experience in building an independent, self-reliant and globally-integrated economy.

During the meetings, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called on global tech giants to bolster cooperation with Vietnam to assist with the country's efforts to drive a startup and innovation ecosystem.

The meetings were part of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's working visit to China, where he is attending the 16th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (WEF Tianjin 16).

Focus to be made on accelerating implementation of three railway lines connecting Vietnam and China.

At the June 24 forum, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, green transition, and circular economy are offering limitless opportunities for bilateral collaboration.

At the conference held on June 23 under his chair, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stressed that the current state of counterfeit and fake goods, smuggling, and trade fraud is causing public concern and anxiety, negatively affecting the health, rights, and legitimate interests of consumers.
