China’s Sunwah Group will build and operate a virtual booth selling Vietnamese agricultural products on e-commerce platforms and social networks in Vietnam’s northern neighbor.

The news was revealed at a recent working session between representatives from the group and the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Sunwah will represent Vietnamese traders to manage, support, and respond to Chinese consumers’ queries and feedback relating to agricultural products sold on the Sunwah Gelafood online booth as well as join trade promotion programs held in China.

In March this year, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Tran Thanh Nam had a working session with the Director General of the Sunwah Group in charge of Southeast Asia, Jesse Choi, where he agreed with the company’s proposal to build an export and import e-commerce platform in China to facilitate trading activities between businesses of the two countries.
