Construction began on October 3 to expand Provincial Road 830C, a key route linking the western gateway of Ho Chi Minh City with its neighboring province of Tay Ninh.
The 9-km road will be widened from 12m to 30m at a cost of around VND1.85 trillion ($69 million). It starts at the intersection with Nguyen Huu Tho Street in Ben Luc in Tây Ninh province and ends at the border between Tay Ninh and HCMC.
Once completed, the upgraded road will enhance regional connectivity by linking with major transport arteries such as National Highway 1, Ring Roads 3 and 4, the Ben Luc–Long Thanh Expressway, and the HCMC–Trung Luong–Can Tho Expressway. The project is expected to help cut logistics costs, attract investment, and drive socio-economic growth across the region.
