Bac Ninh launches five major projects to mark 50th national reunification anniversary

The northern province of Bac Ninh has commenced five major projects to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025). 

The projected Hong Hac - Xuan Lam Urban Area in Thuan Thanh town spans 197.7 ha, is designed to accommodate a population of 27,700 people and involves an investment capital of over VND27 trillion (more than $1 billion).

In collaboration with neighboring province of Bac Giang, Bac Ninh will inaugurate the Ha Bac 2 Bridge and its 6.9-km approach roads on April 28. The project has an investment capital of VND488 billion (nearly $18.87 million).

A road project that will connect the People's Committee of Trang Ha Ward to the Memorial relic of Mr. Nguyen Van Cu, late General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, in Tu Son City, will be built with a total investment capital of VND461.4 billion ($17.8 million).

The third phase of the Tran Quoc Toan Inter-level Primary and Lower Secondary School Project will proceed, with a total investment of VND216.7 billion ($8.36 million).

The expansion of the Bac Ninh Provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital is also underway, involving a total investment of VND491 billion (nearly $18.95 million).
