Vietnam’s tourism industry has rebounded strongly post-pandemic, ranking among the fastest-recovering markets globally.

The 187-km Haiphong - Ha Long - Mong Cai railway line will be approximately 187 km long is part of the Master Plan for Vietnam's Railway Network for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

The airport is slated for inauguration on December 19, 2025, as directed by the Prime Minister.

The central province also encourages investment in large-scale entertainment complexes and theme parks; among others.

The airport is scheduled to close for one year, starting from October 30, 2025.

During the 9-month period of 2025, Vietnamese airlines maintained a significant share, carrying nearly 44 million passengers, up over 8%, and more than 343,000 tons of cargo, an increase of over 5% compared to the same period last year.
