IPTP Networks – a global telecommunications and infrastructure group – officially launched the AIDC DeCenter Data Center project at Da Nang Hi-Tech Park on August 28.
The AIDC DeCenter Data Center spans 10,000 sq.m, with a capacity for 1,000 racks, a minimum power output of 10MW, and a total investment capital of $200 million (of which Phase 1 is $20 million). Construction is expected to begin on March 29, 2026.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, CEO of IPTP Networks Vladimir Kangin said AIDC DeCenter is not just a data center; it is the first international digital infrastructure ecosystem to lay its foundation in Vietnam.
AIDC DeCenter's goal is to create a secure, high-performance, and sustainable infrastructure capable of meeting the most demanding computing challenges of the AI and Blockchain era, he said.
From Da Nang, AIDC DeCenter will become Southeast Asia's new technology gateway, helping Vietnam seize opportunities and rise strongly in the global infrastructure race, said Mr. Kangin.
Furthermore, AIDC DeCenter is strategically located in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park – Vietnam's first national multi-functional high-tech park. Da Nang is also a transit point for many major international submarine fiber optic cables and lies on the North-South connectivity axis, allowing the center to easily connect with various network providers.
According to Mr. Tran Van Bach, Co-founder of DeCenter Foundation & AIDC DeCenter, AIDC DeCenter is the first key project in DeCenter Foundation's series of initiatives, and also the foundational brick for a long-term vision to make Vietnam a regional data and AI hub.
AIDC DeCenter aims to shape a generation of transparent, decentralized, and globally connected digital infrastructure, where data, digital assets, and real-world assets converge, guaranteed, and fairly validated.
