The Da Nang Startup and Innovation Festival (SURF) 2023 is scheduled to open in central Da Nang city on September 29, according to the municipal Department of Science and Technology.

The annual event connects State management agencies, domestic and foreign partners, universities, startup support units, incubators, investors, experts, and startups, helping the latter introduce their products and seek business opportunities and investors, Department Director Le Duc Vien told a press conference on September 19.

Ten potential startup projects and five scientific and technological solutions will be presented, targeting supply and demand links between startups and investors.

Within the framework of the event, a series of seminars will be held on building Da Nang into an innovative city, attracting capital inflows for innovative startups and boosting international integration of the local innovation startup ecosystem in the context of globalization.

An innovation startup exhibition and an innovation startup competition will also be held.
