Ancient8, a local startup focused on Vietnam’s GameFi sector, has raised $6 million in a funding round from Makers Fund and C2 Ventures with the participation of Pantera Capital, 6th Man Ventures, IOSG Ventures, Folius Ventures, Morningstar Ventures, Th3ia Capital, Sky9 Capital, and Play Ventures. The capital will help it invest more in the GameFi sector and develop its metaverse infrastructure.

AKA Digital announced a strategic partnership on June 9 with the Avetti Commerce Corporation to create a complete B2B e-commerce marketplace in Vietnam, allowing channel members to distribute products and manufacturers to be proactive in sourcing and planning importation with transparent pricing and quality.

More than a year after the Prime Minister approved the National Digital Transformation Program by 2025 and vision to 2030, the process has achieved initial results, especially in awareness at government agencies and among businesses and people. It will also be a space for domestic and foreign founders, investors, and technology experts to share business ideas, new technologies, and stories of success.

The Agency for Enterprise Development (AED) at the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) has launched a portal at https://business.gov.vn to help businesses find information on mechanisms and policies on support programs, training documents, business guidelines, and business links as the digital economy takes shape.
