The Ministry of Finance has decided to cut registration fees for the use of the national domain name “.vn” by half.

Under newly-issued Circular No. 20/2023/TT-BTC, registration fees will be reduced by 50 per cent to VND100,000 ($4.2) per application.

The circular takes effect from June 1, 2023.

Nearly 576,000 “.vn” domain names were granted in the first quarter of 2023, up 4.5 per cent compared to the same period last year.
