Southern Dong Nai province plans to develop Nhon Trach district into a city by 2030 under a Resolution issued recently by the provincial People’s Committee.

Under the plan, the total natural area of Nhon Trach will double, from 2,048 ha to 4,095 ha by 2030.

With advantages in terms of location and industrial development, the district will become an industrial urban area and port city.

Nhon Trach district has the highest rate of industrial parks in Dong Nai, with nine, the first three of which were established in 1997.

Apart from industrial development, another advantage for the district is ports, as it has the largest number in the province.
