Vietnam’s exports of processed and manufactured industrial goods earned nearly $192 billion in the first seven months of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 15.4%, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).
The figure accounts for 84.6% of the country’s total export value during the seven-month period.
Many groups of products recorded high growth such as cameras, camcorders, and components (51.5%); computers, electronic products, and components (30%); wood and wood products (23.3%); phones and accessories (12.3%); steel products (9.8%); footwear (10.1%); and garment and textile (4.3%).
In Jan-July period, the country’s total export revenue reached $226.98 billion, up 15.7% compared to the same period last year.
