Fire safety firms seek to resolve bottlenecks in product approval and market entry

Challenges and obstacles related to administrative procedures, product circulation permits, and fire safety vehicles, as well as the implementation of fire prevention, fighting, and rescue regulations, will be the central focus of the 2026 Fire Safety Business Forum.

Themed "Dialogue with Businesses and Business Associations on Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue," the forum is scheduled to take place on September 10 in Hanoi, with  the Vietnam Fire and Rescue Association (VFRA) acting as its organizer.

The forum will be held within the framework of SECUTECH VIETNAM 2026, an international showcase of integrated safety, security, and smart infrastructure solutions.

For businesses involved in the manufacturing, importing, and distribution of fire safety equipment, bringing products to market involves meeting stringent quality standards, documentation, and procedural requirements. In practice, many enterprises still encounter significant hurdles regarding processes, paperwork, circulation conditions, and the defined responsibilities of various parties—particularly concerning new products and advanced technologies.

By examining specific case studies shared by businesses, the forum will focus on clarifying whether these difficulties stem from legal regulations, the guidance provided by authorities, or the actual implementation process. Additionally, the event will discuss requirements for new products, the specific procedures businesses must follow, and the evaluation and inspection mechanisms applied to different product categories.

Beyond product circulation, the forum also plans to compile a comprehensive list of shortcomings and inconsistencies arising from the practical application of fire safety and rescue laws.

According to the organizing committee, this direct dialogue between regulatory bodies, businesses, and associations aims to identify "bottlenecks" in enforcement. The ultimate goal is to promptly resolve these obstacles while enhancing the effectiveness of state management in the field of fire prevention, fighting, and rescue.
