Central Ha Tinh province recorded gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth of 12.36% in the first nine months of 2026, according to the provincial People’s Committee.

Growth was recorded across all three major economic sectors, with industry and construction continuing to make the largest contribution. The sector expanded 21.56% during the nine-month period, contributing 8.72 percentage points to the overall GRDP growth.

Within the sector, industrial production grew 25.64%, contributing 8.13 percentage points to the province’s overall increase in gross value added.

The strong industrial performance was driven by significant growth in several large-scale industrial products and industries, including automobile manufacturing, electricity generation, battery and accumulator production, steel, yarn and paper packaging.

Meanwhile, the services sector expanded 7.15% in the first nine months, contributing 2.63 percentage points to overall growth.

Agriculture, forestry and fisheries also maintained positive momentum, growing 3.70% and contributing 0.51 percentage points to the province’s GRDP growth.

The figures highlight the continued role of industrial and construction activities as the main engine of Ha Tinh’s economic expansion in 2026, while services and primary industries provided additional support to overall growth.
