Authorities in northern Hai Duong province have committed to improving the local business and investment environment and creating favorable conditions for FDI enterprises to operate.

Speaking at a meeting between local authorities and FDI businesses on May 18, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang said authorities will guide relevant agencies on promptly dealing with the difficulties and obstacles facing businesses.

Focus will be on reforming administrative procedures, increasing business access to different resources, promoting business support services, and enhancing the quality of dialogue with enterprises and taking immediate action to tackle difficulties, he said.

He stressed that FDI enterprises have played an important role in the province’s socio-economic development.

On this occasion, Hai Duong also honored 24 FDI enterprises for their outstanding achievements in investing in the province.
