The Hai Phong City Department of Planning and Investment is seeking a potential investor for a social housing project in Le Chan district.

In Vinh Niem ward, the project in the Cau Rao 2 Urban Area will cover more than 2.56 ha.

Investment is estimated at VND1.9 trillion ($79 million), of which VND25 billion (over $1 million) is for site clearance and resettlement.

On June 16, 2023, the Hai Phong City People’s Committee approved a proposal to build social housing in the Cau Rao 2 Urban Area. As planned, there will be four buildings with some 1,880 units.

The Cau Rao 2 Urban Area will set aside 4,500 sq m for the construction of a kindergarten for 350 children.
