Hanoi speeds up digital transformation in administrative procedures

Hanoi plans to promote digital transformation and apply information technology in dealing with administrative procedures, to cut costs and create favorable conditions for individuals and businesses.

It will also speed up cashless payments for social welfare beneficiaries, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Tay Nam told a dialogue on December 16 regarding administrative procedures.

The Department is currently in charge of receiving and dealing with 120 procedures relating to such fields as employment, workplace safety, salaries, social insurance, vocational training, social welfare, care of children, and the prevention and control of social evils.

It handled 38,800 dossiers of administrative procedures in the first eleven months of 2022.

Representatives from relevant agencies and businesses attending the dialogue proposed measures to remove the obstacles and difficulties in completing administrative procedures.
