Headquarters of ministries in Hanoi to be relocated out of inner districts

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has signed a decision approving a plan to relocate the headquarters of ministries and government agencies out of Hanoi’s inner districts.

The headquarters of 36 ministries and agencies will be moved to the western area of West Lake in Tay Ho and Bac Tu Liem districts and to the Me Tri area in Nam Tu Liem district, around 10 km from the city center.

The western area of West Lake will accommodate 13 headquarters of ministries and agencies on a total of 35 ha.

The remaining headquarters will be relocated in Me Tri, on a total area of 55 ha.
