The Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency at the Ministry of Industry and Trade is developing a national integrated e-commerce floor to link e-commerce platforms of all of the country’s 63 cities and provinces.
The project is being conducted under the national e-commerce development master plan in the 2021-2025 period approved by the Prime Minister in May 2020.
E-commerce promotions on local e-commerce platforms remain limited and are inefficient, according to the agency.
The project will help connect local e-commerce platforms with one another and with popular e-commerce platforms to create effective multi-dimensional trade links.
It will also help boost transactions and purchases through e-commerce channels, support enterprises in promoting e-commerce, and build an e-commerce market in a healthy, competitive, and sustainable manner.
