Local chip startups will have an easier path to the global market with the creation of a center linking chip design and manufacturing in a process called tape-out.

To speed up the disbursement of more than VND33 trillion ($1.42 billion) in the second half of the year, the Ministry of Transport (MoT) will get 32 projects underway and complete 24 others. Under planning, the Ministry will invest in 66 new projects in the 2021-2025 period.
From now to 2025, in addition to accelerating the progress of existing projects, north-central Thanh Hoa province will prioritize investment in a number of key new traffic projects, including the Eastern Ring Road No. 3 with total capital of more than VND3.3 trillion ($141.9 million). It has been calculated that 43 key road traffic projects will be implemented in the province and completed before 2025, with total investment of VND35 trillion ($1.5 billion).
Passenger volumes at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport’s domestic terminal (T1) have increased dramatically during the peak summer season. It is forecast that, in early July, passenger numbers will reach 110,000 people a day, up 40 per cent compared to the peak prior to the pandemic and even exceeding capacity at the terminal.
According to the Ministry of Finance (MoF), the disbursement of investment capital in the first half of 2022 reached 27.75 per cent of the plan. More than VND58 trillion ($2.49 billion), or 10.78 per cent of the plan, has not been allocated by some ministries, central agencies, and localities. The Ministry has proposed cutting unallocated expenditure to supplement the implementation of the Economic Development and Recovery Program.
