Central Nghe An province licensed 58 projects as of September 23 this year with a total registered investment capital of over VND18.73 trillion ($755 million), according to the provincial People’s Committee.

Of which, FDI projects contributed over $730 million. The province targets to attract $1 billion of FDI capital this year.

Meanwhile, over VND16.8 trillion ($677 million) were added to 30 existing projects.

There were 1,533 new enterprises established in the province so far this year, up 5.8% compared to the same period of 2023. Their total registered capital reached over VND17.3 trillion ($697 million), a year-on-year increase of 29.69%.

The province’s GRDP growth in the first nine months of the year is estimated at 7.5-8% year-on-year.
