North-central Nghe An province will become a center of the northern region in trade, logistics, healthcare, science and technology, industry, and high-tech agriculture under Resolution No. 39 issued recently by the Politburo.

Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Trung has asked relevant agencies and departments to promptly implement tasks set by the Resolution, including effectively implementing planning tasks, enhancing connections for development, and speeding up economic restructuring together with renewing the growth model based on science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
Focus will also be on developing its urban area network and boosting infrastructure investment and construction, particularly transport, information technology, and digital infrastructure.
