Pangasius industry struggling amid pandemic

Covid-19 has seriously affected many industries, including the pangasius industry. The price of many types of farmed fish have fallen below production costs and farmers have suffered heavy losses. The pangasius industry earns Vietnam over $2 billion annually and employs millions of workers. Import demand has increased in many markets since the second quarter of this year, however, bringing hope to exporters.
